I live in Vancouver, Canada, and spend most of my time reading and writing and - when I'm not doing that - walking on the beach or spending time with friends and loved ones, eating, drinking and making merry.

I love books of any kind, but once I started reading sexy books, I was hooked and wanted to write them myself. Since I wrote my first piece of erotica - published by Spice Briefs under my alter ego's name, Kate Austin - I haven't been able to stop.

For me, it's the sensuality of these books that grabs me. I can write about how it feels and how it tastes. I can include moments encompassing sound and scent and sight. It's the sensuousness of the details that draw me in. I love the way I can make the setting, the clothing, the physical relationship as lush as I like, the way I can immerse the characters into the world around them, surrounding them with all kinds of deliciousness.
